“My family takes our dogs to two groomers in Bayonne. We go to one for the basic grooming, like cutting their hair for summer, but we always go to DDG for a more aesthetically pleasing cut. The service is amazing and we always stay half an hour later just talking to the ladies there and cooing at the other dogs.
We brought our Shih Tzu there and she loved getting spoiled by them so when we got our Eskie, we brought him there as well even though he's a finicky little thing when it comes to bathing. They handled him very well and he loved it too. Unfortunately, our shih tzu passed a couple of weeks ago and he's going in by himself for the first time in his life but I know they'll keep him as happy as possible.” -

“I took my Maltipoo there for a 3:30 appt on a Saturday and was not told until i walked in the door by Lisa that she was running behind and he would not be done by 5:30-As a business owner,Lisa should have called me to let me know as i would have called her to cancel my Appointment. Lisa then asked if i could come back the next Saturday and also said that she would be there at 8:30 for me since he was a little matted it would take a little more time, i said sure no problem. Saturday comes, i arrive at DIAMOND at 8:30- Of Course Lisa isn't there until five to nine and another customer walked in ahead of. I was told that my dog needed to be shaved cause he was matted-I advised her to cut as short but do not shave him- She said she would do what she could- I asked when i should come back and was told by Lisa at 10- 10:15. I come back at 10:05 and my dog was not even started on his haircut that was going to take so long- Now its over an hour and nothing. i was told by Lisa when i walk in that it was going to be longer- i asked her why AGAIN she didn't call me to let me know and also WHY my dog wasn't taken first since i was an appointment from last week that she screwed up. Lisa proceeded to tell me that she has no time to fight with me and that the other dog was a regular customer.. REALLY.. that is how you want to treat me or anyone else paying for a service. I took my dog home - and before that i was told by LISA that i don't take care of my dog and i abuse him.. Real nice way to talk to a customer. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Nobody should have to deal with such and uneducated ignorant person as Lisa and her grooming skills have gotten worse thru the few years that i had been a customer!!!”

“Lisa was wonderful! My Maltapoo looked great after her grooming. Even better than the cut was Lisa's caring nature. I hate to leave my dog for hours in a cage at the groomers. Lisa suggested I leave Bianca's leash so Lisa could leave her on the floor instead of in a cage. When I came back to the shop, Bianca looked great and was laying comfortably at Lisa's feet. Bianca was relaxed and it was the first time she didn't run out of the groomers when I arrived. I will definately use DD as my groomer from now on.”

“I would not recommend Diamonds. The first time I had her groomed there, my Havanese looked very pretty. The 2nd time was terrible. I am inclined to think that a student was practicing on her. Her face hair was in her eyes, her ears and tail scraggly and her coat a chop job. When I asked the lead groomer to trim the face hair, she cut it all off, so the dog looks like a rat my husband said. When I called to ask if they had any other groomers for next time. I was told to go elsewhere. Of course, I will but don't waste $53 at this place. They obviously don't need your business or your recommendation.”

“My 80 pounds labradoodle had issues with groomers until we found this place. They treat dogs great and they do an excellent job! They are always booked so you should call in advance. They are the best!!!! So bad there is no space for more stars because they deserve 5!”
